A medium is added directly to oil paint on the palette to modify its properties. Depending on its formulation, it can increase transparency for glazes, improve flow, accelerate or slow down drying time, and enhance the surface finish. Each medium in the SCHAAL range has been rigorously selected for its perfect compatibility with professional oil paints and for its long-term reliability.

Composé d'huile de lin et d'essence minérale sans odeur, ce médium devrait être utilisé par tous les artistes. Il permet de diluer la peinture sans créer d'altération de la couleur et de la matière. Utiliser uniquement de l'essence ou de l'huile de lin n'est pas recommandé pour garantir la qualité de la peinture.
Utilisation: Pour ne pas altérer la composition de la peinture, additionner jusqu'à 20% maximum.
