One of the great modern pigments — a vivid, cool-toned red of exceptional purity. PR254 (diketopyrrolopyrrole) is non-toxic, fully opaque, and rivals cadmium red in lightfastness. It produces luminous pinks in tints, vivid oranges with yellows and resonant violets with blues — all the intensity of cadmium, without any of the toxicity.
