A blue of rare mineral purity and nobility, first produced in 1802 by French chemist Louis-Jacques Thénard. PB28 (cobalt aluminium oxide) is a true spectrum blue — neither warm nor cold — with moderate tinting strength and semi-opaque coverage. It harmonises with every colour on the palette, producing refined greens, luminous greys and subtle violets.
