A timeless, muted vegetable green of great solidity (PG17 — chromium(III) oxide). Fully opaque with low tinting strength, it harmonises, anchors and naturalises in mixtures rather than dominating them. It is a staple landscape colour: enlivened with yellows for sunlit passages, deepened with reds for rich darks, refined with blues for atmospheric tones.
